Association of Foresters and Wood Technologists, called in abbreviation SITLiD, is an organization which promotes the development of modern forestry, improves the professional qualifications of its members and popularizes in the society knowledge about forestry, wood technology and environment protection. We organize professional trainings, symposiums, lectures, conduct publishing activity. The Division in Gdańsk has almost five hundred members from The State Forests, Bureau of Forest Management and wood industry. We have developed international cooperation with organizations of foresters and forest enterprises in other countries (e.g. Germany, France, Czech Republic, Romania, Belarus).
